By using carhenry.com or buying a report you agree to these terms. They are written to be read.

What a report is

A CarHenry report is information compiled from the sources listed on the data sources page at the time of the check. It is intended to help you decide whether to buy or how much to pay for a used vehicle. It is not a guarantee of the vehicle's condition, history or value, and it is not a substitute for a physical inspection, a test drive, or a title check from an NMVTIS-approved provider.

What a report is not

A CarHenry report does not include title brands, accident or insurance claims, odometer history, service records or theft status. Sections without a record say so. CarHenry does not have the complete history of any vehicle.

Use

Reports are for your personal use in evaluating a vehicle. You may share a report with a seller, a mechanic or a family member involved in the purchase. You may not resell reports or use the site to build a dataset. Dealers and businesses should contact us about business use.

Price, payment and refunds

Prices are shown before payment and charged once. Refunds are governed by the report return policy.

Accuracy

We work to keep the decode and the records accurate and current, and each section names its source. Source data can be incomplete or contain errors, and we are not responsible for errors in third-party data. If a report identifies the wrong vehicle, the return policy applies.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, CarHenry's liability for any claim connected with a report is limited to the price paid for that report.
